Mission and Purpose

The mission and purpose of CyclingKC is to act as a unifying influence supporting and promoting bicycle activities for the Kansas City Metropolitan area.  CyclingKC will accomplish its Mission by:  

• Providing bicycle education for riders and ride leaders;  
• Supporting bicycle advocacy organizations at the national, state, and local levels;
• Sponsoring or participating in local, regional, state, national, and/or international  amateur bicycle sports competitions;  
• Promoting bicycle safety for all ages; and  
• Promoting bicycle transportation.
